Could using a term of endearment phrase such as " hello dear " be considered sexual harassment?

Whether a comment crosses the line into harassment depends both upon the words that were used and upon the context. "Hello dear" isn't inherently harassing, but any words could be used to harass under some circumstances. A judge or jury would also consider how the phrase was conveyed, the individuals' prior dealings, and any other pertinent information.
