LawGuru Answer Marketplace - Overview

Since 1997, LawGuru.com has been providing answers by attorneys to legal question. Recently, we have made significant changes and improved the system, resulting in the revolutionary LawGuru.com Answers Marketplace (patent application in process), which allows consumers to submit a legal question and obtain either a free answer or a paid answer that offers many additional benefits.

For paid questions (which are essentially a paid private online consultation with a lawyer) users visit LawGuru.com, submit a question, decide how much they want to offer an attorney for a response and select which attorneys may reply. The answers are private and confidential, and are considered actual limited legal advice.

When submitting a paid question, users pay both a venue fee to LawGuru.com (for handling of the question) and an attorney fee to the lawyer who answers the question.

LawGuru.com Answers Affiliate Program

Our affiliate program is a chance for you to enhance your visitors experience on your site by allowing them to submit a paid legal question to LawGuru. In addition, you will earn 30% of the LawGuru venue fee for each qualified paid legal question submitted. The LawGuru Venue Fees currently range from $15.95 to $21.95 (and commissions would currently range from $4.78 to $6.58).

How the Affiliate Program Works

Our program is free to join and easy to use. To get started click on the "Join Affiliate Program" button or link on this page to be taken to the Join Page and follow the simple instructions on the page.

The affiliate links, banner and question pages contain a special code that allows us to track and credit questions that have been submitted by users sent by the affiliate. We can also assist qualified affiliates in setting up their affiliate account.

Integration into your Site & Co-Branding

As an affiliate, you can choose to place simple text links, a variety of graphical banners, interactive flash banners, question boxes and/or co-branded affiliate pages that will allow your users to submit legal questions. We provide all of these materials to you.

How does it work?

It couldn't be simpler! We've streamlined our entire affiliate process to ensure ease of use while still maintaining extremely accurate tracking methods. The process is as follows:

1. Visitor clicks on an affiliate link on your site, in an email or other material.
2. The visitor's IP is logged and a cookie is placed in their browser for tracking purposes.
3. The visitor chooses to submit a paid or free question.
4. If the visitor submits a paid question and accepts the answer, the commission will be credited for you. The question need not be submitted during the same browser session (cookies and IP addresses are stored for 90 days).
5. We send out commission payouts by the 30th of each month for the prior month via PayPal or check (if your balance is at least $100).

Rules and Requirements

We do have some basic ground rules for the program, so please read them and the Terms and Conditions before registering. Here are a few things to keep in mind:

• All participants in the US must enter a US Social Security or Taxpayer ID number. International customers simply enter "International" in this field.
• Participants caught violating or attempting to circumvent these rules will have all affiliate credit voided and will not receive payouts. Additionally, they will be banned from further participation in our affiliate program.
