He attended Rollins College, where he was an Algernon Sydney Sullivan Scholar, a member of the Student Government Executive Committee and held leadership positions in a number of school organizations, including Tau Kappa Epsilon fraternity. After graduating with a B.A. in Politics, Mr. Ladan attended the University of Miami School of Law. While at UM, he was a photographer for the school paper & coached and played on law school football and softball intramural teams. He went on to receive his Juris Doctor in only two and a half years, graduating in December of 1997. He sat for the Florida Bar in February of 1998, was admitted to the Florida Bar and accepted a position with the Orange / Osceola State Attorney’s Office in May of 1998.

Mr. Ladan worked as an Assistant State Attorney for three years, quickly ascending through the ranks from a county court prosecutor to a circuit court prosecutor in only three months. While there, he was responsible for prosecuting cases in adult and juvenile court, ranging in severity from low level misdemeanor offenses to 1st degree felonies. After gaining substantial trial and courtroom experience as a prosecutor, he co-founded Carsten & Ladan, P.A. in 2001 with his trial partner, Keith A. Carsten.

He has successfully resolved countless cases, including jury trials for offenses ranging from murder to DUI and many points in between. Mr. Ladan takes a vested interest not only in his client’s cases but in their lives and works diligently to assist them in overcoming the obstacles they face. He demonstrates a genuine compassion for his clients and has established himself as an excellent advocate for those accused of crimes throughout Central Florida.
