Ana P. Esteves was born in Murtosa, Portugal and immigrated to the United States at the age of 3. Her office is in Newark's famous "Ironbound" community. Ana is fluent in Portuguese and Spanish.
Ana graduated from Rutgers University with English and Sociology degrees and received her Juris Doctorate degree from New York Law School. During and post law school, Ana was an Officer for the Department of Justice in the Special Projects Division of the Immigration and Naturalization Service. She left the DOJ to practice law as an Assistant Corporation Counsel for the City of Newark where she worked in its Contracts section and later as a Municipal Prosecutor.
In 2003, Ana entered private practice in a local Newark firm and, as of June 2006, opened her own office. She handles all types of civil and criminal cases.
