The process of obtaining a divorce can be both financially as well as emotionally taxing. This is especially true in cases involving children or families that are economically struggling just to get by. I believe it is important to set realistic goals for settlement at the outset of the case and to attempt to resolve a case as expeditously as possible while still protecting a client's interests.
