The firm (formerly VB&A) was founded in 1991 by Jose Francisco Vega. Mr. Vega was born in Panama City, Panama in 1962, and is a graduate of Universidad Santa Maria la Antigua (USMA) School of Law. He concentrates his practice in the areas of anti-counterfeiting, trademark, patent and copyright protection, licensing and litigation. We have represented a large number of clients in our fields of practice, while meeting a wide range of legal needs.

We provide assistance on applications for trademarks and patents, and counsel in contractual arrangements concerning Intellectual Property matters.

We represent clients in litigation where trademark, copyright, patent infringement or contractual controversies connected with Intellectual Property rights are involved. We also coordinate domestic and international investigation and prosecution on trademark and copyright infringement, particularly by conducting raids and seizure of counterfeit goods.
