money, collection agencies do not have the right to threaten, abuse, harass or contact third parties including your employer. Federal and State laws
such as the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act and the California Fair Debt Collection Practices Act are there to protect consumers from this type of
abuse. In addition, collectors may be liable for invasion of privacy and infliction of emotional distress.
