My areas of practice include assisting clients concerning their trademark portfolio and management and helping them to develop of a filing strategy to obtain the best protection of their IP rights in the E.U.; providing search report for potentially conflicting trademarks and evaluating the registrability of trademarks; assisting clients with opposition procedures, cancellation and revocation proceedings and any other issues before the OHIM.

Extensive experience concerning enforcement in Brazil. Research and writing of trial and appellate briefs in intellectual property law; motion practice and trial preparation; draftingand settlement of agreements.Successfully obtained several favorable decisions on behalf of multinational clients before the Brazilian Patent & Trademark Office.
Successfully obtained decisions about the seizure of infringed products on behalf of multinational companies in the food industry.

Specialties: Extensive experience on management of big trademark portfolio, copyrights and designs; franchising; contracts.
