Additional Information I help clients register, protect and capitalize on intellectual property. I work to handle the acquisition and enforcement of intellectual property rights. I represent inventors, trademark holders, and copyright holders who may be either individuals or businesses.

I also handle more general business matters, such as assisting with the selection of the business entity, contract negotiations, licensing and technology transfer, and business closings.

My clients uniformly appreciate the personal attention they receive at Delain Law Office, PLLC. I practice in high-powered areas of the law, but I always remember that my clients are human beings. I am committed to providing the highest possible level of customer service to our clients.

I am a registered patent attorney, and am admitted to practice in New York, and before the US District Courts for the Northern District of NY and the Southern District of NY, the US Courts of Appeals for the Second Circuit and the Federal Circuit, as well as before the US Patent and Trademark Office.

I came later in life to the law; my previous experience includes many years as a technical writer and several years as a publisher.
