My practice has focused small business and construction litigation, collections, trucking, commercial and criminal law. I am a frequent speaker on construction and collection law topics, and have substantial experience with real estate matters. With a J.D. degree from the University of Utah, I am a trained mediator and arbitrator, and serve as a Judge Pro Tem for small claims court in the Third District Court, Utah. I like to consider myself fluent in Spanish, but reality may be a bit different; I am a member of the Utah Association for Justice (formerly Utah Trial Lawyers Association), am on the Board of the Utah Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers, and have been a licensed real estate agent.
