We entered into a transaction business with a transporters company to collect our goods in a container from the Mombasa Port Kenya to Kampala Uganda. After signing legal documents of agreements the said company sub-contracted another tranporting company which was insured the goods in transit with the insurance company in Uganda. In the process of tranporting the goods the lorry trailer which was currying the two container got involved in a motor accident and all our marchardise goods got damaged resulting to incurring several losses and expenses. In this case do we stand a right to claim for the insurance comapany to pay to us the damages of our goods directly to us or through the contracted company ?
