My focus is on contracting my skills to other practitioners. I am a former appeals court writ attorney and superior court supervising research attorney. I specialize in appeals and writs. In one case, I led the appeal strategy and drafted the briefs that convinced the appeals court to reinstate the client’s legal malpractice action; published opinion, Winding Creek v. McGlashan (1996) 44 Cal.App.4th 933, 52 Cal.Rptr.2d 236. I have strong experience and skills in all areas of pretrial work, discovery, law and motion and trial preparation. Working with a San Jose practitioner, I researched and drafted a post-trial motion for attorney’s fees that resulted in an award of $230,000. My rates are commensurate with contracting rates in the San Francisco/Oakland/San Jose Bay Area. |
