Following an undergraduate degree (with honors and distinction) from the United States Naval Academy and five years in service to the Navy, Glenn matriculated from Stanford Law School. He moved to Los Angeles to practice at Jeffer, Mangels, Butler and Marmaro, LLP in Century City as a corporate associate. Finding he preferred to work more closely on projects, he left the large firm environment to help run a start-up company as Chief Operating Officer and General Counsel.

His extensive range of experience in a variety of work environments, combined with the current state of the economy and rising costs of legal fees, led Mr. Truitt to believe that there was a better model for legal services.
