I am an attorney actively licensed in Nevada and California. I am available for a variety of cases, to act as local counsel, for referrals or on a legal consultant basis. I also do opinion letters and do transaction work. I practice primarily in Las Vegas, Nevada, but I am available for assignments elsewhere. I am flexible with fees charging $250 an hour normally, but will take contingent and fixed fees as well as work on a contractor basis. I do the serious personal injury cases as well as all civil litigation matters. I do criminal law and family law as well. I will give you a free e-mail consultation at jamessmith@aol.com or a ten minute free telephone consultation. I can be kept on retainer by corporations, insurance companies and other legal entities or serve as their resident agents. My web site james-smith.com has a list of my services and the fees which I charge. I also do entity formation, estate planning, white collar crimes, dissolutions, contracts and bankruptcy. Please feel free to call me for a free initial consultation or a referral to someone who can help you. I pay referral fees for good cases and will accept them if I refer you a case and you are an attorney. I do charge for in office consultations except for personal injury. The initial in person consultation is only $75 for up to a half hour and only $150 for up to an hour. $250 an hour is the charge after that.
