Mr. Bhattacharya also focuses on the litigation of patents, copyrights, trade dress, trademarks and trade secrets. Education Mr. Bhattacharya holds a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering (1996) from Purdue University. He also holds a J.D. (2000) from The John Marshall Law School in Chicago, Illinois where he was an editor for the John Marshall Journal of Computer and Information Law. Legal Affiliations Mr. Bhattacharya is a member of the California Bar (2002) and is registered to practice before the United States Patent and Trademark Office (2000). Mr. Bhattacharya is admitted to practice before the Northern and Central Districts of California, the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals and the Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit. Prior Experience Prior to joining the firm, Mr. Bhattacharya was a patent attorney at Haverstock and Owens LLP. Prior to entering the legal profession, Mr. Bhattacharya was employed as a research and design engineer at Landis and Gyr, a former subsidiary of Siemens, Inc., in Lafayette, Indiana.
