Legal Question
1. X invited Y & his family to dinner on a certain night. Y accepted X’s invitation. On the fixed date, Y drove his family to the house of X’s & found his house locked. They waited up to 9:30 p.m. but the hosts did not turn up. They left the place & had their meals at the restaurant. The cost of meal came Rs. 500. Can Y recover the amount?
