Legal Question
My apartment complex sent me a rent increase notice dated Oct 18th stating the rent was increasing $14 effective Dec 1, 2011. Then they sent me another notice dated Nov 28th stating the rent would be increasing $14 effective Feb 1, 2012. They are saying the increase was due Dec 2011 and I owe them. I say the newer notice cancels out the older one. Are they correct?
