You qualify for deferred adjudication or straight probation, and perhaps even pretrial diversion. Hire a good lawyer and try to keep your record as clean as possible. Perhaps the drugs will test out under 1 g, make it a state jail felony and the potential to reduce to a misdemeanor. All kinds of possibilities. (Third degree felonies carry 2 to 10 years in prison.) |
