Legal Question

We asked our lawyer to help with the papers for my brothers death. My brother had nothing but a bank account and his name is on my parents house as are mine and my other brother. The lawyer wants to charge us 7 - 10% of the entire estate. (my brothers money and 1/3 the value of my parents house.) Does that sound right ??
