Legal Question

I have booked a property. But not received any agreement or Sell did documents. Only I have the receipt of the payment of 20%. Builder is not responding properly and delaying in giving any document. I'm frustated enough to cancel the booking. What should I do to cancel the booking and how much can I get in return?
