Legal Question

My boyfriend is incarcerated and his ex is filing bankruptcy but he is getting all the papers about it. One paper says abandonment of assets and property the other just list her info. It looks as though she is listing him as a creditor but they have no assets together nor have lived together since 2005. Do you know why he is getting information on her bankruptcy?
