You're looking at only the stop sign violation if you beat the other charges. You may have a good shot at beating the other charges. Despite the odor, the cop's searching of the car without a search warrant may have been illegal. If so, what the cop found can be suppressed, and you walk away from it with only the fee for your attorney.
