An advocate does not derive any immunity or privelege under the law. He is just like any other citizen who happens to be a professional. If there is complaint involving offence of which the police may take cognizance, the police certainly can arrest him.

depends upon the natural of misconduct. it may be so that the complaint before the council is made out instead a police complaint. in that situation, the arrest is not mandatory.
