Legal Question

If i am convicted of a 2nd dui in Va within 3 years and am given the mandatory sentence, do i have to serve the 20 days from the conviction date concurrently, or can i serve them on weekends or under work release? I am a teacher and if i have to serve them concurrently from the .conviction date i would lose my job because i would not be out of jail in time for the semester.
