Legal Question
An employer emails an unsigned Word (or PDF) employment contract to me. I do not agree with one of the terms of the contract. So, I modify the terms, sign the document, and email the contract back to the employer. The employer signs the contract without reading it and sends the signed copy back to me. Is the contract binding? Am I required to highlight the change or is it the employer’s responsibility to read the contract before signing it?
