Legal Question

When I graduated from H.S., my uncle told everyone at a XMAS gathering that if I got my Bachelors in 4 years, and did not drink or do drugs, and got into law school, he would pay for law school. We had a falling out over another family issue, and now he refuses to pay. Can promissory estoppel be enforced?
