Legal Question
My ex husband and I have been seperated since our daughter was 1. we have had no contact with him so i did a divorce by publication in 2007. i have since remarried and my new spouse wants to adopt my daughter and change her last name. if i do not have contact with my ex can we file for abandonment and have my current spouse adopt my daughter and change her last name?
