I am responding because of your warning to attorneys who might feel that PayPal or EBay are "too big to sue."

I have been a litigation attorney for 25 years, and I know of few if any experienced plaintiffs attorneys who would turn down a case against a large corporation because it is "too big to sue." The fact is that most of us are all too happy to take on large corporations. The real problem is not that the defendant is too big, but that the plaintiff's claim is too small or speculative or just legally untenable to justify taking the case on a contingency fee basis. Law is our livelihood, and we can only take on contingency cases if there is some reasonable basis for believing that our hundreds or thousands of uncompensated hours will pay off at the end of the case. (if you are willing and able to pay by the hour, you will have attorneys beating down your door to take on a EBay on an hourly basis!).

So good luck with Mr. Shers, and I hope that your clams are strong enough, and valuable enough, that he or another good attorney will take your case. But if you can't find an attorney to take your case, the reason will not be the size of EBay.
