Legal Question in Family Law in Arizona

I live in New Mexico. I recently submitted for default on my divorce in Arizona, where I was married. The default became effective on the 15th of January. She filed a response that day. I was under the impression that she was not able to file after the 14th, now I find out it's up to the judge. Should I just show up at one of the daily default hearings? Should i get an attorney?

She gets another 10 days to respond after you file for default. Was she within that time period or after? If still within that, the case will go forward to a court hearing. If not, you normally would file a second application to the court notifying them that there was no response and that you want a default judgment ordered. And I don't know what you mean by just showing up at one of the daily default hearings. I don't think they will call your name unless you are on the docket for that day and time and judge. I would highly advise you to consult with an experienced family law attorney at this point in the proceedings. Best of luck!
