Legal Question

I live in Michigan and on 2/8/11, I was pulled over for speeding and arrested for drunk driving after blowing a .11. This was my first offense-- I don't even have a speeding ticket. The officer advised me to plead not guilty as he feels the jury has seen much worse. I'm wondering what I can do to lessen the penalty.
