Legal Question

I loaned and have a signed promissory note in the amount of 7,450. The venue is Pennsylvania. The party I loaned the money to has filed bankruptcy. They are attempting to get protection via bankruptcy from the money I loaned. Am I out out luck or do I have other avenues??? Thank you.
