As per Indian Law in case of illegitimate child the mother and not the father is treated as natural guardian and has all the rights and control over the child. child has a right on property of mother and in certain circumstances can claim right on Father's property.

child has right but mother cannot claim any right till he agreed for marriage. So she can claim for marriage.
