Legal Question in Family Law in California

Thank you both Ms. Macklin and Mr. McCormick.

One more thing. I am completing my paper work for income and expense and also visitation verification. I also want to request for telephone appearance. For the phone appearance, do I send to both plaintiff and child support services along with the court? As for motion to show cause. Do I do the same and will they do this on my court apperance on dec. 20th or will they have another date for this? Thanks for all your help.

You need to check with the court about how they arrange telephone appearances. You may want to speak with the Family Law Facilitator for the county where the court is located. Good luck.

Not only every court but every judge has their own way of handling telephonic appearances. If you can contact the department you will be appearing in directly, I would do that. Otherwise the family law facilitator is the place to start. The notice of telephonic appearance must go to all parties to the proceeding.
