Respective sir/madam

On my 10th and 12th marksheets my father name is written as S CHOWDHARY . while his full name is SHANKER CHOWDHARY.. i have passed 10 and 12th examinations from J&K Board of school education in 2004 and 2006 respectively. Now i am facing problems in getting jobs. By which way i can correct them. Whether i go to board office or to a notary. please help me in this matter.
