Legal Question
My wife had an affair and left me for another man. Do I have to divide our assets equally, my lawyer say no I am an injured party.

Typically, when one party to a divorce can prove that the other party to a divorce was the fault for the divorce; then the injured party can request a disproportionate part of the community estate upon the divorce being granted by the Court.
