When you are disinheriting 2 of your daughters, it is not a "simple will" and there may be a good chance that your daughters may challenge it. You will want to speak with an attorney to get advice and help in drafting it.

I completely agree with Mr. Rosner. Online forms may or may not be state specific and may not achieve your goals. Since you desire a Will that is likely to be contested, I strongly recommend that you speak with an attorney to draft your Will to ensure that the drafting is accurate and the required procedures are strictly followed. I would echo the comments of Attorney Rosner. I am admitted in Pennsylvania and I am not trying to drum up business for myself but what you are doing is not a good idea. Leaving 2 of your daughters $1.00 is leaving a loophole possibly for challenging your will. And there is no such thing as a "simple" will. Everyone's circumstances are unique and the fact that you are trying to cut out 2 of your daughters is making this complicated. Even leaving equal shares to everyone makes this complicated depending on your assets and goals.

You need a disinheritance clause in your will. Depending on your assets and debts, you might want to consider a revocable living trust as that is even harder to challenge - and I am sure that the disinherited daughters are going to want to find a way to challenge.

You need to see a local attorney. Wills are more affordable than you think. Please don't let your legacy be a lawsuit in order to money. Go and get an attorney and get this done right.
