Legal Question in Banking Law in India

Hi my name is brahmaji I'm from Andhra Pradesh, my father had borrowed 5 lakhs from someone in chennai, the persons from whom he had borrowed neither met me nor took any assurances from me for repayment, now my father got seperated from us and living in some other place, few days back I received a legal notice from the people from whom my father had borrowed money, they had included me in the legal notice as A2, but to repay back that amount is out of question since I'm having huge loses in the business where there are lot of bills are pending with various organizations so what should I do to save myself from this mess.

You are not liable to such persons unless you executed any document acknowledging the said liability as a guarantor or as co-borrower. You are not liable for the debts of your father during his lifetime. Even after that only the estate of your father is alone liable for such debt. so, resit such illegal demands /claims suitably under law. You have got a bright chance of success you need not worry.
