Legal Question in Banking Law in India
I had lost my signed cheque book for which FIR was lodged and stop payment request was intimidated to the bank.Now all of a sudden my business partner had filed a case under 138 in CJM court stating that i owe his ₹ 4.3 lakhs.The court had sent me a notice to appear.What should I do?

Dear Sir / Madam,
You should attend the Court hearing and put forth the actual facts verbally to the Court and submit it in writing too.
