Legal Question in Banking Law in India
sir i deposited cheque in my account.but my account was not credited...but payees account was debited and the amount wrongly credited to some third party ....so what should we do now....and is it a fraud or mistake?..please reply sir

1) File complaint with ur bank that the amount is not credited into ur account.
2) If failed, file case before banking ombudsman.

It is apparently a mistake which you should request the Bank in writing to rectify and to credit your account immediately.
