Legal Question in Banking Law in India
How can i stop payment of issued postdated cheque to a person when taken this cheque from me by threatening me by press reporter on false case so that he is not liable in act ?

1) Lodge an FIR with police, issue legal notice to the reporter
and issue stop payment instructions to the bank.

2) Also complain to the local and State Press Council immediately.

You should issue a letter to your Bank to stop payment of the cheque(s) if presented for payment.
