Legal Question in Business Law in India

Dear Sir,

I want to start a business for wholesale of Garments.

I like to do it from my home. My residency in Delhi as tanent.

Please suggest me whether it is necessary to have license before starting?

Or ealse i may start my business. Later stage based on the growling of the business i can do all formalities like (license, TAN registration etc.)

Dear Tutun,

Since you are doing business where Sales Tax or GST is applicable, it lies in your own interest to get a Shops & Establishment Act license issued by the local Delhi Municipal Corporation in the name of your establishment, be it a sole proprietary concern or a partnership firm or a limited Company. As a benchmark or yardstick, you can get the license when your annual sale turnover crosses Rs. 2 lakhs.
