Dear sir
We executed a reconstituted partnership deed on nov 2015 in INR 100 stamp Paper. Now we are trying to register this with Registrar office but the sub registrar is objecting for registration as the deed has to be in INR 500 stamp paper. is it possible to pay the difference of stamp charges and register this? Alternatively can the existing partners execute a new deed as an addendum to the reconstituted deed inr INR 500 stamp paper and do the registration.? pls help

Dear Rakesh,

Yes. You may get the difference of Rs. 400 franked on the original partnership deed made on the Rs. 100 Stamp Paper.
