Legal Question in Business Law in India

Hi,

I am working as an employee in central government in India.

I have my investment and business plans which I want to pursue. I have a book written which is about to get published. The question: Is it legal to do investments and businesses and earning money along with my govt. job??

What about taxes?

If it is illegal then please suggest me a way out.

Your investment and business plans are very good. If your government job permits you to engage in any other activity after office hours, you can pursue your plans by all means ... all the best for your success in business.
