Legal Question
We recently bought a cafe/cafe business and paid £50,000 for good will. The previous owner has set up doing the same again 1/2 mile from us. The solicitor that drew up our contract in which we understand it was agreed he would not set up within 20 miles of us has told us he wants £20,000 "up front" to fight our case. We paid £2000 for the contract to be drawn and we can't understand why nothing can be done.
