Legal Question in Civil Rights Law in India

my father is a drunkard and my parents divorced. Now when noone is taking care of him he has come to our city. I have helped in settle into a home and again he is drinking there and asked to leave. I want to admit him in a Deaddcition center ( 4th time). He is now married to someone else but separated for over a year. Can I take ownership and push him into a rehab?

Dear Sir / Madam,

If the home is in your father's name, your father is the sole authority to decide who succeeds him in the ownership of his house and nobody else can decide on it.
