Legal Question in Civil Rights Law in India

My father's grand parents owned a big property in a metropolitan city but after my fathers grandfather and father's death my fathers grand mother and her sister made my father's mother come out of that house by making her sign to some note and they sold it to some other personwhen my father was 4-5 age,my father fought a case for 10-12 years on it but it got dismissed due to lack of evidence
now when we try to search for the details though the same person is there in that house now but not get his name on any leagal terms like in ec.they are in media and rich and influential petsons.
we are hindu and my question here is how to take it forward.if its legally obtained by them then I am not concerned about that house but if its still in my father'sgrand fathers name then I want to proceed it further and need to get that property.
Pls advice how we can get info on that property and how to take it forward
