Legal Question in Civil Rights Law in India

Hi

We booked a flat in Chennai developed by Unihomes in the month of April 2012/ In the agreement it was mentioned that the building handover date was Mar 2015. When raised a concern on this they promised that the building should be delivered for sure by Sept 2013. Now when questioned they are quoting the agreement date specified.

Is there a way we can handle this for earliest delivery of the property.

Kindly, suggest

You may need to follow the terms stipulated in agreement.

Dear Sir / Madam,

You should not have a problem if the payment schedule is in line with the progress of construction and is specified in the Agreement. You can only persuade the Developer to complete the building well before the scheduled date of completion specified in the Agreement with aggressive marketing and sale of all the flats in the layout.
