Legal Question in Technology Law in India

I am working in a small company called Aster Minds-Hyderabad. From past one month I am in Bench which means the company does not have any projects relevant to my skills so they could not assign any work. I am a permanent employee. My employer says he cant pay me when I am on bench, as far as I know all companies pay their employees even when they are on Bench. What are my legal options?

Dear Sir / Madam,

Salary is due and payable to you as long as you are in the employment of the Company. As long as you are in the service of the Company, it remains the responsibility of the Company to ensure that you are gainfully employed and occupied in the job and paid for it. You should look for another job and sue the Company should they not pay you your full salary dues.

Regards,
