doctors and advocates can open their clinic or office even in residence area. so dont worry and the builder will offer you very less amount also coz there is huge differnce in the price of land of residencial and commercial and no one else can open his office on that floor.

If it is only consulting practice then there is no problem.

But if you want to conduct tests/ issue medicines etc then commercial clearance is a must.
