Legal Question in Credit and Debt Law in India

Hello,
I was using credit cards from different banks few years ago.I closed the cards expect the dispute charges that was levied on the card.In the meanwhile I relocated to Chennai on a permanent basis & hence changed my no too.I got a call from unknown no he introduced himself as a Lawyer & told that I had defaulted the bank by not clearing the O/S & they are going to file a complaint against me in Lokadalat.I told him that I've cleared all the dues but he was not listening & very rude.Please advice what I need to do now.

1) If they file, u can contest it with proof. No compromise before Lokadalat.

2) Engage a competent lawyer.
